KB are delighted to welcome Autorek (www.autorek.com) and KB members to the Sixes Tournament & Social/BBQ Night on Wednesday 16th August 2023 from 3.30pm at Double Hedges.
Background
Autorek, a leading financial services software provider of regulatory reporting solutions (with local offices in Glasgow & Edinburgh), have kindly contributed towards co-sponsoring our Cricket Sixes Tournament & Social Night on the 16th of August at Double Hedges.
There will be FOUR teams consisting of SIX players each competing in the Tournament with games starting at 4pm sharp. Each team will play against all of the others in the group stage with the top two teams competing in the final, with a trophy to be presented to the winners! In addition to this, there will be food arranged on the day by Autorek and Kirk Brae CC including cold sandwiches, Biryani and BBQ. Please ensure you arrive on time as we need plenty of volunteers to help organise/run the cricket and BBQ on the day. If you are interested in playing OR entering a team, there is still time so please contact myself or Taha ASAP.

What We Need From You:
- Arrive on time before 4pm to help set up Double Hedges, food, tables, chairs
- Help with cooking BBQ on the grills! If you are waiting for your game to start whilst other teams play, please ensure you are helping out with the BBQ as we will need plenty of helping hands!
- Every KB member will be charged £5 to cover costs for their participation in the Sixes and food. Eat as much as you want! Please pay this in cash to Taha or myself on the day upon arrival BEFORE you play your first game
- Please welcome/meet & greet all of the Autorek members that will be in attendance as this is a great opportunity to attract members to our club as part of recruitment but also to encourage Autorek to sponsor KB moving forward, so please make an effort!
- Final will be completed by 8.30-9.00pm after which there will be a small presentation with the Winners trophy. Please ensure you stay till the end even if your team gets knocked out early as the aim of the day is to make this a real Club Day Out, promoting KB, socialising with members and enjoying good food/company. We will have access to Liberton Rugby Club
